By making a booking, sending an enquiry, or using any service provided by India Car & Driver ("we", "us", "our"), you ("the client") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the client and India Car & Driver.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with a booking. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time — continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation from us (via WhatsApp, email, or phone). Verbal agreements alone do not constitute a confirmed booking.
- All bookings must include accurate travel dates, pickup/drop locations, and passenger count.
- Pricing is confirmed at the time of booking — rates may change for new enquiries based on fuel costs, season, and availability.
- A booking confirmation number will be shared via WhatsApp — please retain this for all future communication.
- We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion without being required to state reasons.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or cash. All quoted prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- A 25% advance may be required to confirm bookings for peak season (Oct–Feb) and long-distance tours.
- Balance payment is due on the first day of the tour before departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All quoted prices include: private AC car, experienced driver, fuel, all toll taxes, state entry taxes, and driver night halt charges.
- Not included: hotel stays, meals, monument entry fees, guide fees, boat/activity charges, and personal expenses.
Cancellations must be communicated in writing via WhatsApp or email. The following charges apply based on notice given before the tour start date:
We understand that travel plans change. We aim to be as flexible as possible subject to driver and vehicle availability.
- Date changes requested more than 7 days in advance are accommodated at no extra charge (subject to availability).
- Route extensions or additional drop locations added mid-tour will be charged at our standard per-km rate.
- Changes to vehicle type are subject to availability and any price difference will be invoiced accordingly.
- We reserve the right to substitute an equivalent vehicle if the booked car becomes unavailable due to breakdown or emergency.
All drivers are professionally licensed, locally experienced, and background-verified. Vehicles are regularly maintained and insured as per Indian Motor Vehicle Act requirements.
- The driver has full authority over the vehicle's operation including decisions on road safety, route and driving hours.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, and behaviour that disturbs the driver are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
- Drivers will follow applicable driving hour limits (max 10 hrs/day) for safety. Early/late requests beyond these hours may be declined.
- Any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers (beyond normal wear) will be chargeable to the client.
India Car & Driver acts as a transportation service provider only. We are not responsible for third-party services including hotels, activities, guides, boats, or restaurants that may be recommended or arranged on request.
- We are not liable for delays or disruptions caused by road conditions, weather, bandhs, government orders, or events beyond our control.
- Loss or theft of personal belongings during the tour is the sole responsibility of the client.
- In the event of vehicle breakdown, we will arrange a replacement vehicle at the earliest possible time. No refund is applicable for reasonable delay periods.
- We strongly recommend all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal liability.
It is the client's responsibility to carry valid identification (Aadhar, Passport, or government ID) at all times during the tour. Foreign nationals must carry their original passport and valid Indian visa.
- Certain destinations (Rohtang Pass, North East restricted areas, border regions) require special permits — we will advise and assist but the client is responsible for obtaining them.
- Park entry fees, forest department charges, and wildlife safari fees are payable by the client directly at the site.
- Clients must comply with all local laws, temple/monument rules, and regulations throughout the journey.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from services rendered by India Car & Driver shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
