India's Most Sacred Journey

The Char Dham Yatra is Hinduism's most revered pilgrimage circuit — four sacred shrines nestled deep in the Uttarakhand Himalayas, believed to wash away sins and grant moksha. This journey combines divine devotion with some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery on Earth.

Begin in Haridwar — where the holy Ganga descends from the mountains and the evening Ganga Aarti fills the ghats with fire and prayer. Move to Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world, where ancient ashrams line the river and adventure awaits on its rushing rapids. Then climb into the Himalayas towards Kedarnath — Lord Shiva's highest abode — and complete the circuit at Badrinath, Lord Vishnu's sacred seat overlooking the Alaknanda river.

Your private driver navigates every mountain turn with skill and care — from the plains of Haridwar to the high-altitude passes near Badrinath. You focus on the journey; we handle the road.

Travel Tips

Best Time to Visit
May to June and September to October are ideal. The Char Dham temples open in April/May and close after Diwali. Avoid monsoon (July–August) due to landslide risks on mountain roads.
Clothing & Gear
Carry warm layers — temperatures near Kedarnath and Badrinath can drop below 5°C even in May. Good trekking shoes are essential. Rainwear is advisable throughout the season.
Altitude Precautions
Badrinath sits at 3,133m and Kedarnath at 3,583m. Acclimatize by spending at least 2 nights at medium altitude (Rishikesh/Guptkashi) before ascending. Carry altitude sickness medication as a precaution.
Yatra Registration
All Char Dham pilgrims must register on the official Uttarakhand government yatra portal. Biometric registration is required at base camps. We can assist with the process on request.
