Drive west to Jodhpur — the Blue City — where the sky-blue painted old town clusters beneath the towering walls of Mehrangarh Fort. Continue deep into the Thar Desert to reach Jaisalmer, a golden sandstone city rising from the dunes, where you can spend a night under stars at a desert camp with camel rides and folk music.
The circuit ends in Udaipur — the City of Lakes — arguably India's most romantic city, where white marble palaces float on shimmering lake waters and every rooftop restaurant faces a postcard sunset.
